The notification
If you see the Microsoft Office Customization Installer notification and the "Install" button is available, it is perfectly fine to click on "Install".
Note: The screenshots are examples. You may see this appear in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.
The notification shows that the Publisher has been verified and the green shield with the tick further enforces this.
The notification shows that the Publisher in unknown however the "Install" button should still be selected.
The notification shows that Publisher is not trusted. This is as a result of a trusted certificate not being available and where policies have been deployed to prevent non trusted add-ins to be installed.
The action
If you receive this Installer notification, please click on "Install". Once you have clicked "Install" this will add the Certificate to the Trusted Publisher store. You will not see this prompt again when the Office application is re-started.
If you receive this Installer notification and you have clicked "Don't Install", please navigate to Templafy Desktop and press the check for updates button. Alternatively you can wait for Templafy Desktop to automatically update.
If you receive the notification with the red cross, please navigate to the Trust Center settings within the Office application and see if "Require Application add-ins to be signed by Trusted Publisher" is selected. If it is, please de-select this option.
If the option is greyed out, the option is being managed by your Office administrators. If the pop up is appearing for all users, a work around will be for the policy to be deactivated temporarily while a solution is released. Doing so will allow Templafy users to install the Templafy add-in.
