Will I have to do something to get the Email Signatures working on my mobile phone?
When you first attempt to use email signatures on your mobile device, you may encounter a sign-in prompt. If the sign-in prompt appears, you will need to sign in to Templafy wherever the Web Add-in is installed on your PC (ex. Office Online or Outlook Desktop). This is required to sync signatures to your mobile device.
NoteIt may take a few moments for the signatures to become available on your phone. |
Are there any cases where mobile signatures do not work?
Yes. Signature previews are only supported on official Microsoft Outlook apps. They won’t work on Samsung/Apple native mail apps.
Can I manually switch between signatures on my mobile device?
No. Users on mobile devices do not have the ability to switch between user profiles for signatures.
NoteThe Web Add-in does not support an interface on mobile devices. |
How does my mobile device know which version of signature to apply to my email?
Signatures on mobile devices are inserted automatically based on the context of your email upon original composition. Changes to the 'To' field do not update the signature.
- New Emails: Every new email composed will automatically have your new external signature attached.
- Forward Emails: Every forward email composed will automatically insert your reply external signature.
- Reply Emails: The signature will be attached to reply emails based on the original recipients:
-
Internal Recipients: If your reply is to internal recipients only (within your organization), internal signature will be applied.
-
External Recipients: If your reply includes at least 1 external recipient (outside your organization), external signature will be applied.
