Forms are used in dynamic templates. They are collections of text boxes that a user has to fill out before downloading a document. The information the user enters is then automatically inserted into the document.
Admins are able to assign pre-existing forms to templates. However, only Super-Admins are able to create new forms or make changes current ones.
When a document has been created using forms, a user is able to later change this information, and reapply new information, by using the document update button.
Below is an example of the Minutes Form, as it will appear to an end user. When filled out by a user, the date and reference will automatically be inserted into the document. The same form can be assigned to any Word or PowerPoint templates.
Other examples of forms include:
- Date only forms, which insert the date only into the document.
- Report forms, which also insert the Report name and other relevant information.
