Go to the 'Forms' tab in the Configuration panel of the admin platform, and choose 'Add new form'.
Specify the name of the form, and then choose 'New Field'.
In the Type-dropbox, you can choose between various form field types. In this example, it is a TextBox.
Add more form fields by clicking on 'New Field', or choose 'Create' to save the form.
Available form field types
Choose a field type from the drop down menu:'
Text box: User can enter free text in the field.
Dropdown: User can choose from a dropdown that corresponds to a column in a datasource.
ComboBox: User can choose from a dropdown or enter free text.
CheckBox: User can check off a box.
Instructions: SuperAdmin can write User instructions before a form field.
Heading: SuperAdmin can setup headings in the form.
Date: User can pick a date from a date picker.
Form field options:
For each form field you have various options that are accessed by clicking the gear button.
Text fields in the user profile:
In the user profile, there is an option to add a default value from the client AD if the authentication method is set up to use SSO.
When working with default values can the first three letters never be uppercase - see below:
Default Values example:
TestValue = Works
TEstValue = Works
TEStValue = Do not work
TestVALUE = Works
ComboBox
If choosing ComboBox, new fields will appear that have to be setup.
