If you have just installed the Templafy Desktop, and then open Word/PowerPoint and the add-ins are not there (your Company tab is not visible), this can be due to the following reasons:
- MS Office programs were opened too quickly after the Templafy Desktop started.
- Templafy Desktop has been installed without the parameters.
1. Office programs opened too quickly:
It takes approximately 30-60 seconds for the TemplafyUpdater to get the add-ins files and distribute these on the PC. If targeted MS Office programs are opened before the update is complete, then the add-ins will not be there.
You can always check if the update is complete by moving the cursor to the Templafy icon on the desktop:
You should wait until you see this message:
Close the Office program and re-open it, then the add-in will be visible.
2. Updater installed without parameters:
You can check this by right clicking on the Templafy icon in the system tray. If the parameters are not installed, you'll see this menu:
Un-install the TemplafyUpdater and install it again with the parameters.
