There is a very important distinction between static and dynamic content when using Templafy.
Static content
Static content is content which is not modified in any way by Templafy. The content is downloaded by the user in the exact form that it is uploaded by the admins.
Examples of static assets include:
- Slides
- Slide elements
- Text elements
- Images
- PDFs
Templates can also be static. Examples of static templates include:
- PowerPoint presentations
Dynamic content
Dynamic templates are customized by Templafy to fit the specific profile of the end-user.
Typical examples of dynamic content include:
- Address information
- Data from a user profile
- Data from a document form
- Logos
- Translation and languages
- Color themes
- Legal disclaimers
On a dynamic template, at least one or more plugins are assigned to perform the above actions.
Managing dynamic content
There are some important things to pay attention to when uploading dynamic content:
- Ensuring that the template is set up to work with Templafy. This is done by SuperAdmins via the Template Designer.
