The collapsible task pane helps you keep important tools within reach without taking up too much space. You can minimize the task pane when you don’t need it and easily expand it when you do — providing a more flexible workspace without losing quick access to key features and assets.
Prerequisites
- Library VSTO Add-in version 7.3.115 or higher.
- Library or AI Assistant module enabled.

Important
- The sidebar is available on the Library Web Add-in, but it is not collapsible.
- The ability to collapse / expand the task pane is only available using the VSTO Add-in through Templafy Desktop on PC.

How to Collapse / Expand the Task Pane
Additional Icons in the Collapsible Task Pane
- Library - access the Content Library containing your company assets.
- AI Assistant - will only be available if enabled on the tenant.
- Update - will only be available if a dynamic Templafy document is opened.
- Find Template - open the 'Choose a template' pop-up.
- Export - save or share the file.
- User Options - manage User Profiles, access settings, etc.
Note
Selecting any of these icons will expand the task pane (except Find Template, which opens its own pop-up).
