The first time a user logs on to a PC where Templafy is installed, the user will be met by an on boarding flow.
By on-boarding flow we are referring to a quick guide that will let that the information in the user profile is correct and fill out any mandatory fields.
The user profile is used by Templafy to:
- Let the user create personalized documents
- Create an email signature in Outlook
- Handle off-line features for the user (if Templafy offline module is enabled)
After having confirmed the information in the user profile which will be auto populated with data from your organization Active Directory, then the user will be shown a preview of the email signature that will be created in Outlook and set as the default email signature (if Templafy email signature module is enabled)
The on-boarding flow is handled by the Templafy Desktop client. The reason for this is that the user has to be known to the system before Outlook is started to determine if an email signature should be created for this user, and in the event any templates and company assets has been marked as available off-line. Templafy Desktop will then handle the off-line synchronization.
