What is DCV?
DCV is a feature that makes it possible for companies to ensure that slides in presentations are always up to date even after a presentation has been downloaded by a user, and saved locally on their desktop.
How does it work for end-users?
When an end-user opens an old presentation that was previously created by Templafy and contains slides that are enabled for validation, but has been saved locally to their PC, then if a newer version of this presentation is made available, the end-user will be notified on opening the presentation, and given the opportunity to update it.
How to enable DCV for slides:
- Click on a presentation file uploaded to Templafy's Slide or Presentation library.
- Select 'Enable DCV' for the relevant slides.
- Click 'Save'.
