Kubernetes Cluster Alerting

This article will detail the steps to an alert based on a query. It is recommended that alerting be set up to monitor the Email Signature Server Nodes and Pods in the Kubernetes cluster.

You will need to follow these steps for each alert required.

Create an alert

• Go to portal.azure.com
• Select the Resource group that was created by the Email Signature Server implementation. It will contain four services which include the Kubernetes service, Storage account, and the Log Analytics workspace

• Select the Azure Kubernetes service and follow these steps to load the alerts:

  

• Below are the rules that Templafy recommends enabling:

  

• Turn on the alert (example: Restarting container count) and setup the action group afterwards like below:

  

• Configure the action group accordingly depending on the preferred communication method (the action of the alert)
