What is the Dynamics designer?
Dynamics Designer is the designer used for designing dynamic templates in Templafy. Dynamics are always configured through the Dynamics Designer. To access the Dynamics Designer, go to:
- Go to your Office application
- Open Templafy task pane
- Access the Dynamics Designer via the ellipsis as shown below
How to activate Dynamics
To activate dynamics to a document, you simply need to enable the document as a template. After doing so, you can start configuring your dynamic template. To enable as template, follow below steps:
- Open Templafy task pane
- Click on Dynamics Designer in the ellipsis menu
- From the Settings tab you're on; toggle the switch "Enable as template"
Now that the document has been enabled as a template you can get started on your dynamic configurations, e.g. if you can go to Forms tab to create gating questions for the user to answer or from the Element tab create bindings to forms or data sources. The dynamic designer contains 4 different tabs, and each tab is explained below.

What is the Document tab?
From the Document tab you can set your document metadata, including:

What is the Element tab?
From the element tab you can create bindings linking to your forms or company's data sources/resources. From a dropdown you can choose different binding types. Depending on the binding type, you will see different fields to set up your bindings. E.g. for text elements you can link directly to an asset ID.
