This article will explain how to edit your document settings upon sharing and after sharing a document.
What is document settings?
Document settings can be applied upon upload prior to sharing your document with any recipients.
- Click Change settings. You will have this option after you've added your recipient's email address:

How to access Document settings after upload?
- Go to
- Click on the document in question
- Click the More button
- Select Document settings
From the dropdown, choose a selected expiration period. This will the period in which your recipients can have access to your document.
Enabling annotations allows your recipients to make annotations in your document. This will be enabled by default.
All options will be disabled by default, but you can enable to receive notifications when a document is opened, when a document is closed and for all other activities including: ???
More options include allowing for download and prints.
Save when you've changed you document settings.
