About this article
This article will explain what advanced configuration is and how to access it through the Dynamics Designer.
What is Advanced Configuration?
The advanced configuration tab is useful if you're troubleshooting a template or need to edit template settings in JSON. The advanced configuration tab takes you further to two configurations related tabs:
The Template tab contains metadata on the template in JSON format. Both in regards to standard and custom properties but also Templafy related metadata such as Dynamics version and Document Content Updater settings.
The Form tab contains the form settings on the template, also in JSON format. This is specifically useful if you need to copy a form configuration from one template to another or perform bulk operations such as deleting, editing or creating forms en masse.
To view and edit advanced configurations, follow below steps:
- Open Dynamics Designer in Templafy task pane
- Navigate to
Advanced Form Configuration
