When documents are shared with others via email, the recipient is met by a consent flow, which will be explained further in this article.

Prerequisites

Document shared with you via email

A document has been shared with you

When someone shares a document with you via email, you will receive an email from <noreply@templafy.com>. You can see the title of document (highlighted in purple below) and a message, if the sender added this. (highlighted in red below)

Click View document which opens up in a PDF viewer.

Accepting a shared document

The first time you open a document, that was shared with you, you need to accept and give consent to the privacy policies.

Open the email and click the View document button
Click on the privacy policy link to read these. This link redirects to Templafy's website: www.templafy.com/engage-privacy-notice/
Click Accept

Going back to the email at a later point to view the document sends you directly to the document PDF viewer from where you can see annotations made from collaboration with other recipients
