Prerequisites

 
  • Library and Offline templates modules enabled
  • Templafy Desktop 3.4.51 or above
  • Library VSTO add-in 7.1.79 or above
  • Space owner access

 

How Offline templates interact with Dynamics

When it comes to Dynamics capabilities, the limitations of default template distribution also apply to Offline templates. Offline Templates are NOT compatible with: 

  • Required form fields and data connector form fields
  • Ticks() and the date function Now() 
  • Dynamic Slides/Text element insertion

Offline templates does support Dynamic templates where information from user profiles or data sources can be made available offline on the user's PC storing default values. 

 

 
  • Any edits to the User Profile form or data sources utilized in the Dynamic template will be updated with the next Templafy Desktop update. 
  • If a Dynamic template has the "update document" function enabled, users can update the document the next time they are online.
