Release Notes

1.1.0.1 - February 2024

  • Update Web Add-in to support shared mailboxes scenario: When using Outlook Online to access shared mailboxes, users have reported issues with the web add-in not appearing in the ribbon. This has resulted in the signature being saved for the initial user who logged in and then displayed for any other user accessing the mailbox. This problem persists until the signature expires, which is after 1 month or 1 year (depending on the settings). To address this issue on the manifest's side, the manifest has been updated to ensure that the web add-in is available in the ribbon at all times. Furthermore, the updated manifest has improved the structure of the add-in, based on official recommendations, to provide a more stable user experience. It also enables future developments based on the "From" field changes.

1.1.0.0 - January 2024

  • Add support for Mobiles in Outlook Web Add-in: Outlook Web Add-in now allows signature insertion in Outlook for Mobiles, both on Android and iOS devices. This is now possible with a new manifest for the Web Add-in, version 1.1.0.0. To get the new manifest, use the new "Include support for mobile devices" feature when downloading the manifest. The support in Outlook for Mobile is limited to automatic signatures when new messages are being created/replied to.

1.0.0.14 - March 2023

  • Add translations to Outlook Web Add-in manifest: We are now providing translations in all languages used in Templafy for the text strings present in the manifest. These texts are visible on the Office's side when exploring the Web Add-in's definition. The language used will be the one of the Office 365.

1.0.0.13 - January 2023

  • Remove .hive on outlook web add-in manifest: .hive was removed from the production root URL and is now only added as default tenant.
  • Outlook Ribbon alterations: The ribbon in Add-in for Outlook Desktop label has changed to Email Signature.

1.0.0.12 - 2022

  • Add support for automatic Internal & External email signatures based on recipients.

      Important

    • For Outlook Desktop this feature is only supported for clients using builds 16.0.14729.10000 and up.

1.0.0.11 - 2021

  • Web Add-in is now only removed if installed along with versions of VSTO Add-ins made after the VSTO Add-ins were split into separate Add-ins.
