How to enable Google Drive Delivery Connector

This article explains how to set up a connection to Google Drive using a Delivery Connector. Before setting up an Integration to Google Drive, you must enable the Delivery Connector in modules.

Once the delivery connector to Google Drive has been set up, users will be able to save to Google Drive from two places: 

  Prerequisites

  • Admin/owner access to the Templafy tenant.
  • Library and Delivery Connectors modules enabled.
  • Optional Google Workspace setup:
    • Admin rights in Google.
    • End-user devices should be enrolled for cloud-managed Chrome Browsers for the Admin to manage the extensions centrally.

Set up Google Drive Connector in Templafy

  1. In the Admin Center, access the Integrations section.
  2. Go in the Available tab.
  3. Find/Search for Google Drive.
  4. Click +.
  5. Click Save:

Set up Google Drive integration in Google Workspace 

Once the Templafy Google Drive Delivery Connector has been set up, it will be available to end-users. The first time an end-user will be using the Google integration (save to Google Drive), they will be prompted to accept two necessary scopes for Templafy integration to function. This can be avoided by setting up a domain-wide delegation in Google Workspace in Security > API Controls > Manage Domain Wide Delegation.

  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.file
  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.readonly
