AI Assistant Playground

This article will explain how to test and iterate on prompts in the Playground section before publishing as prompt templates to users.

Testing a New Prompt Template

1. Navigate to the AI assistant in the Admin Center.
2. Click the "Playground" Tab.
3. Select "Blank prompt template".
4. Write your prompt under the "Instructions".
5. Write your Message.
6. Select the Connection you would like to use for the prompt (Custom AI Assistant only).
7. Hit Generate to see your response. You can hit Generate again to see a different response.
8. You can save your prompt template as a new one or overwrite an existing prompt template.
9. Hit Publish to make the prompt template available for your users.

Testing an Existing Prompt Template

1. Navigate to the AI assistant in the Admin Center.
2. Click the "Playground" Tab.
3. Select an existing prompt template.
4. Edit your prompt.
5. Save the changes to the existing prompt template or make a new prompt template.
6. Hit Publish to make the prompt template available for your users.
