How to filter using User Groups

This article explains how to set up User Group filters within Email Signatures, Content Library, and Spaces.

  Prerequisites

User Group Filtering in Email Signatures

Once a User Group has been created, it can be used to target individuals for specific email signature components.

  1. In the Admin Center, click on the Email signatures section.
  2. Within a signature part, select a specific item.
  3. Select Target users and Edit next to Target by User Group and Users.
  4. Add the selected User Group.

User Group Filtering in Content Library

Once a User Group has been created, it can be used to target individuals for specific Library assets (within folders).

  1. In the Admin Center, click on the Libraries section.
  2. Within an asset library, click on a folder.
  3. Select Settings and Edit next to Restrict access (Security).
  4. Add the selected User Group.

User Group Filtering in Spaces

Once a User Group has been created, it can be used to target individuals for Space membership.

  1. In the Admin Center, click on the Spaces section.
  2. Select a specific Space and click Edit next to Members.
  3. Add the selected User Group.

 Note

User Groups cannot be used to filter Space owners, only Space members.
