How to set up a security filter and restrict access
Restricting access is a security filter that will allow you to limit access to a folder to specific users and/or user groups.
- Select the desired folder.
- Go in the Settings tab.
- Click on Edit next to 'Restrict Access (Security)'.
- Select the desired Users and User groups.
- Click Add to selected.
- Click Save.
ImportantYou must set up User groups in the User groups section before they can be used in the Security filtering. |
How to set up a target audience filter
Target audience is a convenience filter that will allow you to limit access to a folder based on user profile information.
- Select the desired folder.
- Go in the Settings tab.
- Click on Edit next to 'Target Audience'.
- Add the desired Filters and Conditions.
- Click Save.
NoteIn the above example, the folder will only be visible to the users that have chosen either "Canada" or "USA" as a Country in their user profile. |
