Templafy Library in Word

This article explains how the Templafy Library works in Word.

  Prerequisites

  • Library module enabled.

Creating a new document

  1. Open Word
  2. Select the desired option in the Home tab
    • New document (highlighted in green): opens the blank document set by your administrator.
    • Find a [tenant name] template (highlighted in red : opens the document creation flow which will allow you to find all documents uploaded by your administrator in the Documents Library.

  Important

Users also have the option to create a blank document or open the document creation flow inside Word via the Blank Document and Find Template buttons in their ribbon.

Lastly, it is also possible to create a new document from the Library pane by clicking on Find template.

Inserting assets 

  1. Click on the Templafy icon in the Home tab or in the Templafy tab.
  2. The Word Library is opened with the different assets, made available by your Templafy. administrator(s).
  3. Click on an asset to insert it as explained below:
Text elements insert a text element into your active document.
Images insert an image into your active document or in your selected shape.
Content connector insert an asset from an external content system into your active document.

 

  Important

  • The insertion of Text elements from Templafy Library will apply the 'Use Destination Theme' option from Office.
