Inserting images in PowerPoint (Mac/Office Online/Windows)

This article provides additional information on how the image insertion into PowerPoint placeholders and selected images behave based on the application that is used.

Inserting images into selected image (replacing the image)

The best experience you get is when you replace an image in Office for Windows with the Library VSTO Add-in installed: the selected image is replaced by the image from the Templafy Library.
When you insert an image from the Web Add-in, then the selected image in your presentation does not get replaced, but the image is inserted as new image on top of your selected image. In that case, remove the current image first, so the placeholder appears. Select the placeholder and insert an image from Templafy Library (as shown in the animation in the third tab).

Inserting images into placeholders

The result of inserting an image from Templafy Library into a slide depends on the object (placeholder) that is selected, the Office version (Windows, Mac, Online) and the Add-in (VSTO or Web).
