Supported languages for Templafy applications

This article lists all of the supported languages in Templafy and how these are managed per application. 

Supported languages for Templafy

  Note

Templafy default language is English-US.

It is possible to set the language of the different Templafy applications to any of the supported languages listed below:

  • English (en-US)
  • Danish (da-DK)
  • French (fr-FR)
  • Dutch (nl-NL)
  • German (de-DE)
  • Italian (it-IT)
  • Spanish (es-ES)
  • Portuguese (pt-PT)
  • Norwegian (nn-NO)
  • Swedish (sv-SE)
  • Japanese

Default language for Templafy

 Note

If the applied language is not found or not supported, the language will default back to English-US

  Note

  • For Library & Email Signature VSTO/Web add-ins, translations will be applied to:
    • Ribbon (button and tool tips)
    • Notification dialogues 
    • Create a blank Templafy document & Browse and build your Templafy document options from the Home tab in Office applications
  • For Check & ProductivityPlus add-ins, translations will be applied to: 

    • The chosen language will only apply translations to the tool tips and buttons
    • Changing the language setting will not change the language used in Templafy Desktop, the overall User interface or Library & Email Signature add-ins buttons and tool tips

How to manage language settings for the overall user interface?

From the WebApp

  1. Go to your Templafy tenant in a browser (https://tenant.templafy.com)
  2. Go to the ellipsis menu in the top right and click on Settings
  3. Select any of the listed languages in the Interface language dropdown. The change will take place immediately.

From the Library Pane

  1. Open Library pane within an Office application (Desktop or Online version)
  2. Go to the ellipsis menu and click on Settings
  3. Select any of the listed languages in the Interface language dropdown. The change will take place immediately.

How to manage language settings for Check and ProductivityPlus add-ins?

  1. Open Check or Productivity Settings from the ellipsis menu
  2. Select any of the listed languages in the Language dropdown. A PowerPoint restart is required for the change to take place.
