How to access Template Designer

This article explains how to access Template Designer from the ellipsis menu in the Library pane, and, if custom tab settings are enabled on the tenant, from the ribbon.

How to access the Template Designer from the Library pane

1. Go to your Office desktop application, in this example Word.
2. Click on the Home tab in the ribbon.
3. Click on Content Library to open the Library pane.
4. Click on the ellipsis menu, then Template Designer as shown below:

If 'Create custom tab for Templafy add-ins' has been enabled on your tenant, the Template Designer button will displayed directly in the ribbon. 

1. Go to your Office desktop application, in this example Word.
2. Navigate to the custom tab, in the example below named Templafy.
3. Click on the button Template Designer.
