Favorite Assets and Templates

End-users can mark their preferred assets and templates as favorites and easily access them using Favorites view, reducing the time and clicks required to find commonly used content.

How to add assets or templates to favorites

Users can mark an asset or a template as a favorite by hovering the mouse over it and clicking the grey star icon. When selected as favorite, the star icon is orange:

  Note

  • Folders cannot be marked as favorites, however marking one asset from the preferred folder as favorite will allow the user to quickly access the folder from Favorites view.
  • Favorites are applicable to all Templafy Asset Libraries (slides, slide elements, text elements, email elements, images, PDFs, and links libraries).

How to remove assets or templates from favorites

Removing assets or templates from Favorites can be done by clicking the yellow star icon on the content:

  Note

If the asset is removed when in Favorites view, the asset will remain visible until the page is refreshed.

  Important

  • Favorites are user specific.
  • Admins cannot mark assets or templates as favorites on behalf of the users.
  • If an asset or a template, that user has marked as a favorite, is moved to folder the user does not have access to, it will be removed from user's favorites.
  • Replacing an asset or a template using "Replace" function will not remove it from user's favorites.
  • If an individual slide is marked as a favorite and the admin decides to group the presentation as a slide collection, the slide will disappear from Favorites view for the end-user. If this action is reversed, the individual slide will appear again in user's Favorites view.
  • If a slide collection is marked as a favorite and the admin decides to ungroup the presentation as individual slides, the slide collection will disappear from Favorites view for the end-user. If this action is reversed, the slide collection will appear again in user's Favorites view.
