How to preview templates and assets

This article explains how templates and assets can be previewed before creating documents and presentations or inserting assets. Previewing eliminates the need for trial and error, and speeds up the process of finding the right content.

Templates

The preview is available in the creation screen (composer) as soon as the template is selected. The recently used templates show a thumbnail (preview of the first page or slide).

  Important

  • The layout settings will be preserved throughout the user session.
  • Description is available for Text elements and Email elements, and only when the Space owner has filled in the description of the asset in the Admin Center.
  • Layouts apply only to asset views, not folder views.
