The Open task pane on launch setting allows you to enable or disable the automatic opening of the Templafy task pane when you start applications such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel, or Outlook on your PC.
This setting is enabled by default since the task pane can be collapsed when not in use, but the following steps ensure the task pane is not opened at all when launching your Office application:
- Open an Office application on your PC, e.g. PowerPoint.
- Navigate to the Templafy task pane on the right side of the window.
- Click on the User options icon.
- Expand the App preferences section.
- Under the Open task pane on launch option, toggle the Open automatically setting.
