This article explains how to use the slide level layout outline when creating a presentation using Document Agents.
Overview
When using the Document Agent, an outline of the requested presentation will be generated for end-users to edit before final creation.
Understanding Slide Layouts
Before using Document Agents, Templafy Admins for your tenant have configured a presentation template according to your brand guidelines. This template, referred on the slide level as a 'layout', is what the agent uses when building a presentation.
NoteThe slide layout options can only be updated by Templafy Admins. |
Editing the Outline
Once the slide level layout outline screen is reached, end-users have the ability to edit sections and proposed slide content and layouts, as well as create new sections and slides right in the outline.
- Click on the three dots icon in the top right corner of a section to edit its name or delete it.
- Click on a specific slide to open the Slide details task pane to change the slide layout, title, and content brief - which is used to inform the agent about the actual content that should be generated on the slide. You can also delete a slide using the red trash can at the top of the task pane.
- On the section or slide, use the 6 dots icon in the top left corner to reorder its positioning.
- Within each section, use the Create new slide button to have the agent generate the selected slide layout during presentation creation. You can also opt to create individual slides after presentation creation.
- At the bottom of the outline, use the Add section button to create a new section.
NoteIf a slide layout is changed, it is recommended to modify the Content brief to ensure the content strategy is adapted to the newly selected layout. |
