Invites

This article explains how to email invite a user to your Templafy account as well as how you see if an invite has been accepted, is pending or expired.

  Prerequisites

How to email invite users

  1. Naviagte to the Invites tab in the Users section of the Admin center.
  2. Click Invite user
  3. Fill in the email address of the user you wish to invite and hit Invite

  Note

Users invited to a tenant will only have access to the Web App unless an email authentication method has been configured.

Until the newly invited user has activated the invitation, it will show on the list as pending. The Invites tab also shows an overview of all invitees, when they were invited, and by whom.

You can also view all previously accepted invites by toggling the Show accepted invites button in the top right.

  • After an invite has been accepted, the user will show up in the Users tab.
  • This article explains the end-user flow of accepting an email invitation to a tenant.

Expired invites

Email invites expire after 24 hours of the invite being sent. You can Copy linkResend, or Delete the invite if it has expired.

Invites and Email authentication method

Email authentication does not need to be configured on a tenant for a user to access the tenant via an email invite.  The user can navigate the tenant's corresponding production environment specific server URL:

The specific production environment of your tenant can be communicated by your Templafy representative.
