About this article
This article explains what Integrations are and how they relate to Connectors. When installing any Integration you need to enable the related Connector, meaning that Connectors function as the technical enablers for any integration to an external system.

What are Integrations?
Templafy is able to unify an organization’s entire content management IT infrastructures by integrating their external systems into their Templafy's document workflows. These setups are what we refer to as Templafy Integrations.
In order to enable any of the available integrations, Templafy has created 4 different types of connectors where each one of them, addresses, or is used, in a specific part of the document workflow. In other words, connectors are the technical enablers for any integration to an external system to happen.
Templafy integrates to a myriad of external systems and differentiates between four types of connectors:
App Connectors
App Connectors are the ones that allow Templafy to load directly within a third-party application. With an App connector, organizations can start the Templafy document creation process from their own apps and have the resulting document saved back to their app. Currently supporting:
Data Connectors
Data Connectors allow for the retrieval of data from one or more external data sources (outside of Templafy), and then subsequent injection of this data into the document as part of the document compilation flow. Currently supporting:
Content Connectors
Content Connectors connect to one or more external content sources (e.g. a Digital Asset Management Systems) and display the source content inside the Templafy Library UI. We currently have 20 different connectors to external libraries.
All supported integrations are listed here: Setting up Content Connectors
Delivery Connectors
Delivery Connectors deliver or hand over a document to another step in the document creation workflow or send it to a third-party application.
