Slides Library

About this article

In the article, we will explain what the Slides Library is and how it works for an end-user.

What is the Slides Library?

The Slide Library works in Microsoft PowerPoint and allows you to easily insert slides and slide collections, made available by your Templafy administrator(s), in your active presentation.

The Slide Library will only display the slides that are matching the aspect ratio of your active presentation. E.g. if you are using a 16:9 presentation, Templafy Library will only display slides that have a 16:9 aspect ratio.

  • The Slides can also be downloaded through the WebApp

What is the difference between a Slide and a Slide collection?

Slide

A Slide is an individual slide that can be inserted into your active presentation.

Slide collection

A Slide collection is several slides associated together that will be inserted all at once into your active presentation.

How does it work?

In PowerPoint,

  1. Open the Templafy Library
  2. Go in the Slides tab
  3. Click on the slide or slide collection you would like to insert
  4. The selected  slide or slide collection is inserted in your current presentation

  • The slide or slide collection will be inserted after the slide that is currently selected in PowerPoint. If the selection is in between two slides, it will be inserted at the very end of your active presentation.
  • Templafy Library will only display the slides that match the aspect ratio of your current presentation.
