Once a data source has been created and the schema field has been set up, you can start adding content (items) inside the data source.

What is an item?
An item in a data source becomes content that can be used in different areas of Templafy (User Profile form, email signature components, Dynamics...).
Example with Countries data source and User Profile:

When adding an item, you will be requested to fill in information based on the schema you previously created for your data source:

How to create items in a data source
After creating the data source and its schema, you can add items to this data source.
- Select the data source.
- Click Open data source:
- Click + Create.
- Fill in the desired/required information.
- Click Create.
How to search for items within a data source
Once the data source has been populated with the necessary items, the search can used to find items based on a specified column.
- At the top of the data source items, enter your search term.
- Select the column on which the search should run.
- All the rows containing the search term in the specified column will be displayed.
How to show or hide columns within a data source
After creating the data source and its schema, you can add items to this data source.
- At the top of the data source items, click on Display columns.
- Check (display) or uncheck (hide) the desired check boxes.
- Click Close.
- Only the selected columns will be displayed.
