About Document Agents

With the launch of document agents and a chat interface, Templafy empowers end-users to create and edit documents more naturally and efficiently than ever without sacrificing compliance, brand consistency and administrative control. Just as importantly, it also addresses two of the biggest barriers to enterprise AI adoption: awareness (knowing when, where and how to use AI) and proficiency (being confident enough to use it well). By embedding guided, branded AI into familiar workflows, Templafy makes AI adoption seamless, intuitive and impactful.

What is Universal Document Agent?

Universal Document Agent allows users to generate presentations with AI. Using the chat interface, users can explain what they want to create, and the document agents will generate presentations that are on brand, compliant, and using the company's tone of voice. Compliance is ensured by defining the Document Agent template that will be used for presentation and slide generation. The tone of voice is setup in the AI Assistant section. 

Creating a presentation

Users can create presentations with Universal Document Agent by using the chat interface. They can type what they want the presentation to cover, upload Word, Excel, PowerPoint or PDF files (max. 5 MB) to give additional context and information and respond to follow-up questions from the system to make the presentation more accurate.

Editing a presentation

Once a presentation is built, or if starting from a template from the Library, users can use Universal Document Agent to create new slides from the Templafy task pane in PowerPoint. Based on the prompt, the user can choose to select:

• A slide created by the document agent from a layout of the document agent template.
• A slide from the Library, suggested by the document agent.
