How to use the Templafy Copilot Agent for Microsoft 365

This article covers how to access and use Templafy's Copilot agent for Microsoft 365 apps, specifically Word and PowerPoint. If your organization has implemented Copilot, it is possible to use Copilot to surface templates from Templafy directly in your Copilot chat.

How to Create Presentations with the Templafy Copilot agent in PowerPoint

If your organization has deployed Copilot for you, you should be able to see Copilot available in your PowerPoint ribbon.

1. Open the Copilot chat in PowerPoint.
2. Chat with the Templafy agent by @ mentioning Templafy ("@templafy") or clicking on the   menu in the top left of the Copilot pane to switch to the Templafy agent:
   
3. Ask Copilot to help you build a presentation. Chatting with the Templafy agent allows you to quickly find relevant templates stored in Templafy based on your needs.
4. Click on Open next to the template that you'd like to use:
   
5. If additional input is needed from you to generate the presentation, you'll be directed to fill in additional information in Templafy:
   
6. You can then open the presentation to review or continue editing, if needed, in PowerPoint.

How to Create Documents with the Templafy Copilot agent in Word

If your organization has deployed Copilot for you, you should be able to see Copilot available in your Word ribbon.

How to use the Templafy agent in the Microsoft 365 Copilot app

3. The Templafy agent will return relevant Document, Presentation, and Spreadsheet templates.
4. Click on Open next to the template that you'd like to use.
5. If additional input is needed from you to generate the file, you'll be directed to fill in additional information in Templafy.
6. You can then open the file to review or continue editing, if needed, in the corresponding Microsoft 365 app.
