Edit Agent can help improve the layout and formatting of existing slides in PowerPoint.
Prerequisites

Use case
Use this when a slide has good content but needs visual cleanup, such as better alignment, spacing, sizing, or consistency with the rest of the deck.
Why this helps
Formatting work can take time and is easy to deprioritize. Edit Agent helps users polish slides faster, which makes presentations look more professional and reduces the need for manual design support on routine fixes.
How to clean up a slide
- Open the presentation in PowerPoint.
- Go to the slide you want to improve.
- Optional: select the objects you want Edit Agent to adjust.
- Open Edit Agent in the Templafy task pane.
- Ask Edit Agent to clean up the layout.
For example:- "Fix the alignment and spacing on this slide."
- "Make the selected shapes the same size."
- "Tidy this slide and make it easier to read."
- "Improve the visual hierarchy on this slide."
- "Make the formatting more consistent with the rest of the deck."
- Review the changes in PowerPoint.
- Ask for follow-up changes if needed.
Tips
- Select objects if you only want a specific part of the slide changed.
- Be clear if content should not be rewritten.
- Ask for one visual change at a time on complex slides.
- Ask Edit Agent to create a new slide from the existing slide content if you want a stronger approved layout instead of improving the current slide in place.
