Clean up layouts and formatting with Edit Agent

Edit Agent can help improve the layout and formatting of existing slides in PowerPoint.

Use this when a slide has good content but needs visual cleanup, such as better alignment, spacing, sizing, or consistency with the rest of the deck.

How to clean up a slide

1. Open the presentation in PowerPoint.
2. Go to the slide you want to improve.
3. Optional: select the objects you want Edit Agent to adjust.
4. Open Edit Agent in the Templafy task pane.
5. Ask Edit Agent to clean up the layout.
   For example:
   • "Fix the alignment and spacing on this slide."
   • "Make the selected shapes the same size."
   • "Tidy this slide and make it easier to read."
   • "Improve the visual hierarchy on this slide."
   • "Make the formatting more consistent with the rest of the deck."
6. Review the changes in PowerPoint.
7. Ask for follow-up changes if needed.

Tips

• Select objects if you only want a specific part of the slide changed.
• Be clear if content should not be rewritten.
• Ask for one visual change at a time on complex slides.
• Ask Edit Agent to create a new slide from the existing slide content if you want a stronger approved layout instead of improving the current slide in place.
