How to design email signature parts with the HTML Editor

This article explains how to work in the HTML editor in the Admin Center's Email Signature section.

  Prerequisites

  • Admin/owner access to the Templafy tenant.
  • At least one of the Email Signature modules enabled.

How to work in the HTML editor

Signature Created with the Designer

  1. Go to the Email signatures section in the Admin Center.
  2. Click on Signatures and then click on any signature you wish to edit.
  3. Click on the ellipsis menu and select Open in HTML.
  4. Select Convert to HTML at the top of the screen.
  5. Insert your HTML in the editor.

  Note

If a signature is converted to HTML, access to the designer for that signature will be lost.

Signature Created from Scratch or Converted to HTML from the Designer

  1. Go to the Email signatures section in the Admin Center.
  2. Click on Signatures and then click on any signature you wish to edit.
  3. Click on Edit HTML.
  4. Insert your HTML in the editor.

Validate HTML

You can validate your HTML by clicking the Validate button at the bottom of the HTML editor. If any errors are detected, they will be displayed in the Validation result window.

If the written HTML code is within the rules of the validator, the validator result will state: "Your HTML is valid. You are good to go":
